Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is drawing a heavier impact in Dayton as its top research organizations have dramatically increased the money they spend with Dayton businesses in recent years.
The latest numbers, provided by the base and the Dayton Development Coalition, paint the picture of a multi-faceted anchor that is the largest single-site employer in Ohio and employs tens of thousands of people.
